Delightfully goofy antics, a quick wit, and the ability to turn any situation into a bit of fun are both what kept Corey in detention throughout school, but also what propelled him into the wild world of mischief and magic. In the summer of 2012 Corey resigned from his full time position as a Cyber Security specialist to accept a new position entraining families at carnivals and fairs with one of the country's last remaining circus sideshows. Through the years, he expanded his repetoir, studying and training under the world's most prominent sword swallowers and carnival showmen. This journey eventually brought him to Colon, Michigan: The Magic Capital of the World. It was there that he became a student of the great Illusionist, John Sterlini and ultimately crafting the oddly unique Magic Thrill Show that has taken him around the country. The bizarre blending of magic, comedy, juggling, and real stunts into a one-of-a-kind family friendly spectacle is what garnered him invitations on such programs as The Today Show, and earned him the name "Odd Corey".
When not performing, Corey works tirelessly designing, building, and routing new stunts and magic. On off-days he enjoys day trips on his motorcycle; or just enjoying a good book or an old movie at home with his family.
